Introduction :
WiFiMage
is an application that lets you send photos from your iPhone to your computer, through a WiFi connection.
|
WiFiMage
works with iPhone 3G, 3GS and 4
and also with the latest generation iPod Touch (in this case only in WiFi).
You can also use an iPad 2
(In WiFi or 3G depending on the version)
Your device must be running on iOS 4.2 or later.
|
The primary objective of WiFiMage is to use your iPhone
as a camera to send pictures to one of the
Médiasoft Technologies applications dedicated to the achievement of plastic badges:
·
eMedia-CS
·
Office-Cards
·
Visitors
Indeed, these applications incorporate a technology
allowing direct use of a picture that arrives in a given folder for a direct badge integration.
Environment:
To operate WiFiMage, you must have:
·
An iPhone (3, 3GS or 4).
·
The application WiFiMage (downloaded from the AppStore).
·
One of three Médiasoft
Technologies applications dedicated to badges.
·
An internet connection, like ADSL*, on your desktop computer.
·
An FTP Software (we recommend FileZilla, which is free to download here).
The configuration of these elements is fairly simple to perform, the whole process is described here.
The wireless connection should be enabled on your iPhone.
* Note:
It is possible, in some cases (ADSL connection unstable or absent), to establish a WiFi AdHoc
between your iPhone and your computer.
While working very well, this type of connection is more complicated to configure.
If you wish to establish this type of connection, see one of the many websites dealing with this problem..
Operation:
